Congress: Protect Communities from Dirty Projects

Fossil fuel polluters and data center proponents want unrestricted access to build dirty projects in our communities.

One of our key tools to protect ourselves — whether from a pipeline or a data center — are federal rules to protect our air and water, as well as those that require an environmental review before Federal agencies issue permits for a project.

Polluters and their allies in Congress want to overwrite those rules in the name of “permitting reform” to make it easier to skirt public opposition and pollute our communities. We need to work together to block any attempt to limit public input and weaken the environmental laws and reviews.
